Nongtenoy Village, located at the 2nd largest city of Laos, is our 1st partner. It takes about 1 hour from Pakse to Nongtenoy village. There used to be a tree, which called “Nongtenoy”. It was the origin of the name.
The ground isn’t covered with concrete; it is covered with red clay and fields.

①shortage of tools for education and bad environment of room
There are no walls between classrooms, so children can’t concentrate on own lesson.
All students don’t have own textbooks, so some people use it together.
②long distance from village to junior high schools
In Nongtenoy, there aren’t a junior high school, so children go to other village’s school by bike or on foot.
